Though there was lots of land journey from place to place, it was a good experience. From a crowded high mountain of Huashan to to the plateau region up north, the crowd dissipated to hardly any souls!
It was a great contrast.
No more natural private agricultural and animal farming as most are now nationalised.
Their Wind Farms were a plenty!
So what does Shaanxi had to offer?
Lots of corn fields, pessimons, dates, grapes, apples and walnuts!
Another Must see in Xian - this awesome 3D, special effects outdoor theatre at HuaQing Palace! A real story set in 600AD about the Tang Dynasty Emperor And His concumbine! The last part was however, not real - good ending in dream. Outdoor can be cold at night! Brrrrrrr.... 3 shows running daily in the evening! We caught the first at 7:10 pm last 1 hour and 10 min!
This existing Xian ancient wall was built from AD1370 to 1378 under the First Emperor of Ming Dynasty - Zhu Yuanzhang. Xian was once the capital city of Tang Dynasty (AD618-907), previously called Chang An. Present city wall was an extension/ enlargement of the Tang Imperial wall. Total length : 13.75km / Height is 12m. Thickness from 12-18m

Worth the ride. We were blessed with an extended ride to the Bay of Islands at the price of A$165 instead of A$265 cos we were upgraded to join the group of 5 others! So the ride was 25 min instead of the usual 16 min!
