From Blue of Healing to Purple of Royalty via an awesome creative blue butterful pea plant!

OCT 2018 : Placed some seeds of this blue butterfly pea in the garden!

DEC 2018 : Harvested the first pea flower!

JAN 2019 : Had some fun 'playing" with this blue drink! Adding some lemonade to turn it from blue to purple!

Reflections
We serve an amazing Creator YHWH.
Doing this recent experiment simply awes me once again.
I cannot boast of having green fingers. But this blue butterfly pea plant grows so easily from seed to maturing with beautiful blue flowers in just 2 months plus.  Now it is growing in abundance!

Having seen the awesome BIG rainbow over the home last month, I am reminded of Blue being of one the 3 rainbow primary colours (RYB).
BLUE! It signifies the Healing power of God (Matt 9;21 the hem which was touched by the woman with the issue of blood was Blue!)  It also represent the WORD of God. The fact that the sky is blue stands for the presence of YHWH - Omnipresent God. 

Celestial sky -Truth .  Heaven.

The Sapphire - is a blue precious stone. Used as the second layer of foundation of the wall in the New Jerusalem. Rev 21:19.  Until today as I penned this, I am still unable to comprehend this awesome Heavenly place in my little pea brain mind.  Orion - as I last journalled allowed me to gaze into the night sky.  Where the dark faraway space opens up to a brillant techno colour bands of light way beyond the rainbow colours that I can now see occasionally. I can only imagine!

RED - represents the blood of Jesus, blood of the Lamb, love of God, atone and salvation.

Of course I did not add red stuff to the above blue to turn it to Purple! I added lemonade!

PURPLE ! Viola! The water turned to purple once the acidic lemonade was added into the drink!  And Purple reminded me of Royalty, Priesthood, Kingship, mediator and wealth.

We are born to WORSHIP the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
The day we are born into this earthly world where decay starts due to sin.
Despite He is Jehovah Rapha - he is the Healer as in the blue I see in a butterfly pea flower, there is more to healing of our broken bodies here on earth.

He has come to take away my sin and to redeem me and make me His precious daughter when I acknowledge that I am just like a little pea in the universe. I needed Him. I am born to worship the Creator God who had shed his blood on the cross for me.

So...thank you Lord Jesus.  Through this blue pea -my heart goes out in purple wonders once again.  You alone, deserve the highest praise! Amen!

20190111 Orion@LH & Rainbows Again

11/1/19 The nite I saw Orion in the sky!

It started when I happened to stare into the night sky past 11:30pm.  Saw many stars congregated just above the house.  Out came one of my sisters who asked me about the row of 3 stars she spotted.  I told her there was a name for it!

I decided to take out my poncho and laid it on the lawn.  Out came another sister and the three of us started to STAR GAZE! Neck bending was tough! Easier to lie down and enjoy looking up above:)

With the phone and internet, I recalled it was ORION that we were seeing!  Unbelievable! COOL! The 3 stars located known as the 3 Kings or 3 Sisters (Just like the 3 of us! LOL) - Orion Belt (job 38:31 the band of Orion)! And of course the 4 other bright stars surrounding it.  The 2 better known ones as Rigel and Betelgeuse.

The Poncho used to STAR GAZE! :) Useful S hooks used to hook unto the palm trees!

Starry starry Reflection

Just like beholding a rainbow, star gazing made one lept for joy as well!

More so that with my naked eye, Orion was seen! What an awe!

Can you imagine our Creator God calls out the stars by name? Ps147:4

He who make Orion and the Pleiades (Job 9:9, Amos 5:8)

Like Isaiah 40:26 ...Lift up my eyes on high and Behold the One who has created these things, that brings out their host by number, he calls them all by names by the greatness of his might, for he is strong in power, not one fails...

When Job was questioning God, God asked him back many questions of WHO can.....from Job 38-41.  And finally Job got the point and surrendered to Him. In Job 42. It is God.  It is His creation.  He can do everything.

The sky at night through the gazing of this Orion speaks of our Creator God and His awesomeness.

The sky in the day after a little rain with the help of the sunrays produces the most magnificent rainbow arc, a reminder of His covenantal love for us.  Mere man whose life is held in His hand.

How can we say there is NO GOD?

Pause.

Take time to lift up our eyes on high.  Be it day or night.  He is always there.

His presence.  If only we choose to pause and listen and see.

Amen!

20181228-Christmas at LH! Kites and Koi!

Welcome another 12 cute Kois making a total of 19!

The 12 kois were a gift from K.  One koi representing one year since knowing him.  Thank U!

And knowing that I was looking for the yellow ones, a pair finally came to the pond! 

Yet to know more about fishing - did not realise so much work and effort required to transfer them to the pond...waiting, giving them time to adjust to the new place...putting in salt and some medicine...not able to feed them for the next 24 hours...:)

Arriving on the same day of this new fish to the family was another FISH family who came a visiting...The YU family...and we had a great time playing putt putt as well returning to childhood simple joy of kite flying!

Well, a befitting SOTONG kite for a little grand niece who had never flown one! Sotong ...real sotong!

K & K Thoughts for the year ending 2018

2018...time seems to have flown past , not slowly like the KOIs but like the KITE!

Kois need the water but the kite needs the wind. And we beings need both.

Kois glide inside the confined space of a pond but the kite glides outside a open space. And we beings thank God for the freedom we have in our going in and coming out. 

What a Creator God we serve - He who created the beautiful kois and the winds and us - human beings, who in turn can make a cute sotong kite that is able to fly granted the right wind conditions.... 

A reminder from Acts 17:28 "For in him we live and move and have our being"

So this was how we spend our Christmas of 2018 in JB. A quiet but yet exciting time with family and loved ones.

And most importantly, as another year ends, I am grateful to another K of K.  The King of Kings, Lord Jesus Christ. Yahweh.

P/S : On 22/12/18, we receive the news of a Malacca aunty who passed on.  Had not seen her for many years.  Alas, a reflection after coming back from the wake - a day trip drive up and down S'pore - Malacca...better to visit those living than the dead.  That would be a 2019 resolution and future resolutions in years to come.  As said by King Solomon- for in the realm of the dead where we are going, there is neither working nor planning .....so best to visit the living now....
