He used to fly a kite here back in 2019? But today he handled a drone! And he played Pickleball first time like a pro! lol!

And today, he has grown taller than his grand aunt!

Gosh. Time flies!

Amazing how last I was thinking of Reset at the beginning of 2023.

And now it is December end!

Took a morning walk at Emerald Lake

Home to dress and doll play with Christmas decor!

Then off to golf and found a new toy at the range!

20231125 A Light Mural Project!

  Oh it is just a month away from Christmas! Manage to de clutter the little unused or hardly used bed and sea horse mattresses to our gardener on thu. Saw some dirty marks on the wall. What to do? Paint lor. 

So asked john “ what is your Favourite Bible verse?”

He replied “ Errr. Light. The light in genesis. “ 

I asked “which one?”

He said. “That one la. In genesis. After the few days..”

So his memory verse was pathetic. But it is from Genesis 1:3 lor. 

Went to hardware shop… asked for brown but shopkeeper gave me maroon… no choice. So maroon it was. 

Cut cut cut all the palm leaves and pandan and ferns… lol. Natural elements !

So here is the Light Project for the year end! Blessed Christmas Everybody!

200231020 & 21 Yellow River (Loess Plateau) and Hukou Waterfall!

1. Do you know that 'Loess" means yellow?!!

2. Do you know that the Yellow River starts near the Mongolian side in the west and flows to the East sea in more than 99 turns?
3. Do you know that it separated Shaanxi and Shanxi at the Hukou waterfalls- the mid point of this great river in China? Where is narrows at the place and the water drops over 30m in height here rendering a spectacular vapour and water falls?

The Loess Plateau - such a vast expanse of land formation.

Shaanxi does not get the flooding ! It is the cause of the flooding downstream in Henan area as the yellow sand washed and accumulated over downstream!

20231019 - Longzhou Danxia/ Aligator Rock / Tongwan City Ruins

 

The Red earth like mars @ Longzhou and the limestone ruins at Tongwan. Quite a contrast with just 70km apart.

First time walking on the glass bridge! COOL!

Indeed a very rich geographical, archaelogical & historical place of landscape.
