Our 2 days ended for Dali. Home to mainly the Bai minority ethnic groups. Think this group is pretty house proud based on their architecture of their houses. Even our guide owns the traditional Bai headdress and costume even today. Yunan is famous for their Puer tea , silver , marble, and all the fruits and veg.
Ever watched Li Xian in his recent drama 去有风的地方？ well we went to the site filming location of their embroidery workshop today. Saw so many beautiful hand embroidery stuff!
And tie dye! Now I know why it is a tie and a dye. Slightly different from the way Malaysia and indo batik is being done.
