20250831 Angklung Music? @ Tebrau City JB

 I was at Tebrau City JB this week and heard this beautiful vibrating sound of angklung! This brought back memories of my secondary school days where there was such an angklung music CCA. 

This young performer Aziz is only 26. He started with piano till grade 3 and switched to playing this angklung sets. He told me the upper sets were the black keys of the piano. The lower set started from key of C were the white keys. 

I requested 2 songs. The first was •Perfect”!

The other song was *Kiss the Rain * by Yiruma. But he was not familiar. So he heard it from my phone and then he started playing by ear ! So Impressed! So now he performs at malls, weddings etc. awesome musician!

 What a PErfect Day!

20250801-A Dragonfly Moment

Wow. Now is August! 8 Mths have just flew past in a twinkling of an eye!

 

Today was dragonflies watching day. That heron came much earlier and feasted itself, as usual. 

My friends told me that dragonflies are good. Seeing them around means the eco system is clean and clear! Well , thank God that we see the red and blue ones fleeting around often at the pond. 

So today , I managed to capture with the IPhone some of the shots! Big bulging eyes! Translucent wings! 😂
