20260610 LIFE LINE reflection

 What is a LIFE LINE?

1. Here is a poetry on LIFE LINE from an unknown author. A good lesson on living a life

2. Here is a video of the importance of a LIFE Line in underwater cave diving. A good lesson from the Maldives cave accident - saving your own life

The Unknown author wrote:

Every minute… someone leaves this world.

Not only the old.

Not only the sick.

Not only the weak.

Someone. Somewhere.

Age has nothing to do with it.

Life does not always send a warning.

The truth is… we are all standing in a line.

A line we did not choose.

A line we cannot see the end of.

And the strange thing is… most of us don't even realize we are in it.

We wake up every morning thinking we have time.

Time to hate.

Time to fight.

Time to compete.

Time to prove we are better than someone else.

But the line is moving.

Quietly.

Patiently.

Relentlessly.

And every day… someone steps out of it.

We never know how many people are ahead of us.

We never know when our name will be called.

We cannot move to the back of the line.

We cannot step out of it.

We cannot pause it.

And no amount of money, power, fame, or connections can halt its progress.

So while we are still standing here… while our turn has not yet come…

Let us make peace.

Let us forgive.

Let us stop carrying the heavy bags of anger and hatred.

Let us do good.

Not tomorrow.

Not when it is convenient.

But now.

Let us tell the truth, even when lies seem easier.

Let us be honest, even when honesty comes at a cost.

Let us show kindness to people who may never be able to repay us.

Because one day — whether we like it or not — we will leave this world.

That is the one appointment no human being can cancel.

So what is the point of holding a grudge against someone who could leave tomorrow… or you could leave before them?

What is the point of destroying someone's life, sending a brother to prison, or plotting revenge… when neither of you truly controls tomorrow?

Why boast about money… when money has never stopped death?

Why boast about status… when titles disappear the moment life leaves the body?

Why deceive yourself with power and connections… when countless powerful people stood in this same line before you and still had to leave?

Why fight your own brother over land… when the earth itself will one day cover both of you?

Look around the world.

People fighting.

Families breaking.

Communities divided.

All for things that cannot follow us beyond the grave.

Evil often grows from ignorance.

Pride is the costume of foolishness.

Selfishness is the poverty of the soul.

But kindness… kindness is strength.

Compassion is wisdom.

And humanity is the greatest legacy a person can leave behind.

At the end of life, nobody asks how much money you had in your bank account.

They ask how many lives you touched.

They remember whether your presence brought peace… or pain.

Whether you lifted others up… or pushed them down.

Whether you built bridges… or burned them.

So while we are still alive…

While our hearts are still beating…

While our feet are still moving in this mysterious line called life…

Let us do good.

Let us love more.

Let us forgive faster.

Let us help those who cannot help themselves.

Let us use the little time we have… not only to build our lives…

But to uplift humanity.

Because when our turn finally comes…

And we step out of this line…

The only thing that will remain is the good we did for others.

May the Lord guide our hearts to what is right, forgive our shortcomings, fill our lives with sincere goodness, and grant us a beautiful ending when our time comes.

MY reflections:-

INdeed our life is always on a line

It has the beginning and the end

The journey is never a straight line.

BUt one that turns and twist.

What is more important is how well we live on this line

Whichever part of the line we may be on

Knowing how to tag the beginning of the opening of the cave as we navigate into the dark, is a line that really can save my life

May the Lord be the perfecter of our faith

May He be always the life line that we follow and trust

Tag Him  From the beginning to the end

Amen!

Check out this song I made! CAVE ENTRANCE!

Life is like a line—

There is a beginning, and there is an end we find.

Yet the journey between them is rarely straight or fine;

It turns and twists, it rises and falls through the passage of time.

What matters most is how we live along that line,

And whether our steps are guided by a purpose divine.

To mark the entrance of a cave before venturing into the darkness

Is wisdom that can save a life.

In the same way, we need a sure point of reference

As we navigate the winding path of life.

May the Lord be the Author and Perfecter of our faith.

May He always be the lifeline we follow and find,

The One we trust when the road is uncertain and the horizon undefined.

Let us hold fast to Him,

From the beginning to the end of the line.

20260525- KK 35th anniversary !

WE have arrived at our CORALs ! What a 35 achievement!

Decided to take a short trip to KK as a getaway! A trip which we missed 14 years ago!

25/5/26!

A little “adventure “ on our first day of arrival at Kundasang!

1. They gave us a weird GPS location of their hotel? It was drizzling around 5pm when we arrived. But the road was weird ! Undulating, unpaved and narrow among agricultural lands. In the end John decided to stop the car. Fortunately he did. Called the hotel in charge and was told wrong place! Had to U turn back!

2. Had a bit of shocked when we stepped into the chalet? No fridge ( we bought beer) and no TV! 😂 Pretty disappointed cos we booked 3 nights originally!

3. Decided to use this excuse and got owner / Trip to cancel one day and get our refund.  Thank God quite responsive. By afternoon got the call from Trip on the refund.  😂

4. Met the family from kluang and was told they had a better room with balcony and fridge etc!  Made us complain lor! But the old man who received us at the junction when we “lost” our way was pretty helpful.  He helped us to ta pau food from the restaurant cos the way in was a little bumpy.

5. The weather up the mountain is nice. The place is def bigger than Cameron Highlands?

6. The Desa dairy really looked a bit like NZ 😂 well the original moo moo were from there and australia.  But hybrid from Usa Cow sperms later 😂

7. Quite lucky! Managed to see the Rafflesia in Bloom! Din know this mushroom flower lives only for 5-6 days. Short life span.  Paid rm 30 and 20 ( Malaysian) just to gawk at their 3 blooms covered in shade!

8. Lunch at Sabah Tea at the hill top was pretty a good view! LIke the Cameron highlands.

9. On route back to Ranau, stopped by at a bus IG place. Hmm. Now is the Malaysian school holidays. And Haji is Tomo. But this “ Bus” was empty. Decided to take drink. Felt a bit sorry for them. No biz :(

Going to golf 9 hole and check out ! So glad to get the refund.  Will head to KK city tomo afternoon instead.  😝

Have a peep at the Kundasang roads! Impressed by the way they handled the sale of golf balls! Self pay into the plastic bottle! No theft! Another good thing about this golf course? They allow non golfers to take the guided caddie ride for a fee! So non golfers can have a feel of how is like on a course!

27/5/26- 28/5/26 Day 3 & 4 In KK city!

KK is not a big city. The town is just a few KM long. 😂 The airport is just couple of min to the city centre!

Glad we decided to quit one day in the mountains. Drove up and down the “city “ 😂

So decided to take a trip to Mari Mari Culture Village for their scheduled half day guided tour. One was 10am which was fully booked. So no choice went to the 2pm slot. Pretty educational! About the Sabah tribes! This village

Their Aru Beach? Think our Changi Beach is as good and cleaner !

Then I spotted my CORAL!!! befitting of our 35 Anniversary! LOL. This was at the KK Suteral Harbour area!

Managed to do a quick snap of KK City Mosque. Quite nice

We stayed in a designer hotel accredited Luma Hotel which was just opposite Glen hospital and their Imago shopping centre.  This one is good value for money compared to the silly Spring Kudasang! 😂 ( next time look for this design hotel accredition! Boutique style. Well renovated)

20260429 : Rev 4 The Final Judgement Throne

 Reading Rev 1-6 this morning.

Some Muisings over a certain Bloomberg defamation suit that just ended trial in High court.

The presiding judge is a lady  And wonder what would

The outcome be  22 May.  Curious as a cat! 🧐 Meow

What was interesting was a little revelation of an email exchange that was allowed by this judge to be read in court  !

Summary? The case of the Bloomberg defense vs the sue men   The lawyers liken to - one a David and the other Goliath

The case of actual malice, failure to check & attempt to mislead vs absolute transparency , minister level of information control and deliberate regulatory concealment of critical information

Well well    Was not following this case cos I thought the outcome is surely in favour of the ones who love eating the particular type of noodles called SuMee  😂

But now…. Wonder how justice would be like next month?

Reflections

Was listening to John Lennox’s sermon on Revelation shared to pastors in a conference in Jan this year   Prompted me to re read Revelation after his sharing on the 3 verses in both First and last chapter of Rev : He Is COMING! And about JUDGEMENTS! Wrath and the one and only one Final Great WHite Throne among the 24 other thrones around it

I decided to doodle and draw out Rev 4 mainly for my own Bible study  😂

I  definitely looking forward to His Coming

The world and the politics of governance in many countries seemed to be in a mess

As Iohn Lennox quote :-

“Darkness as a form of control. The power of light and the power of darkness “ John Lennox.  What is the gov of God? Luke 22:53 and Col 1:12-14

Light dispels darkness. We pray for the light to come. Justice to prevail.  Amen?

20160426 清明? In Loving Memory…

April is the Qing Ming Month!
Remembering our late parents and some loved friends who had “migrated” first
Some departed 30 years or more. And some just under 2 years.

Visiting crematorium niches is not my usual physical routine. Because I always believe in memories in my heart. Those good old times when we were together. The shared moments of joy and griefs. That holds the memories.

I believe in “ afterlife. “

I believe in a Heavenly mansion prepared for those who know Jesus. So in reverse I also believe in Hell.

I believe in Revelation - the heavenly city above where there is no more sickness and pain.

Will there be massages in heaven? I used to ask? Because I enjoy the kneading routine in my second home in JB now weekly. Play hard. Body ache hard too! 😂

At what age would I be when I get to heaven I asked too?
Will unborn babes be still unborn state up above?

Will I recognise my grand parents or great great grands whom I had not even met ?

Will I get to see my beloved Peggy dog above too?

Questions.
Questions.
Questions

As one age, the more I will be attending more wakes than weddings.  Well , this is the journey of life.

In deep reflections ….reminiscing

Arh arh!!! April ! No wonder!!! aHHHHHHH!

20260425- 搀扶 35 years of marriage!

 25/4/26:-

Hmm. Decided to record this song this morning

《搀扶》 (Chan Fu) is a heartfelt song originally written and performed by 马健涛 (Ma Jiantao), who is both the composer and lyricist.

Theme: The song conveys themes of love, support, and companionship, with "搀扶" (meaning "to support someone physically or emotionally") symbolizing unwavering care in relationships.

This song is one of John’s favourite! Only came to know it early this year actually.

Come next mth? Celebrating 35 years of marriage ! In gratitude to Him who love us.

But this song is more than this. It applies to all relationships. GOd is love. And Love is God. May we cherish and support all our loved ones around us. Till death do us part.

We have only one life. Make it work. Cherish. Moments. Love. ❤️ The greatest of all from the One who gave us all !

A recording by Mui this morning.

THE SONG!

Translate to English

This is the lyrics to 《搀扶》 Chān Fú “Supporting Each Other” by 姜育恒 Jiang Yuheng, a classic Mandarin love song about growing old together.

Here’s the English translation, keeping the poetic feel:

---

Supporting you, who cares if heaven isn’t long and earth doesn’t last

Don’t cry, because I’m here to guard you

One day when we can’t walk anymore

We’ll be together again in another time and space

Many years ago I took your hand

From then on, we walked through wind and rain together

When it rained, I held the umbrella for you

When my clothes tore, you mended them for me

In the blink of an eye, so many years have passed

My face is now covered with the marks of time

Your eyes are filled with wrinkles

But your beauty still lives in my heart

I’ll hold your hand forever

We promised in this life to walk together

In this life, we haven’t loved enough

After death, we’ll be buried on the same hill

Supporting you, who cares if heaven isn’t long and earth doesn’t last

Don’t cry, because I’m here to guard you

One day when we can’t walk anymore

We’ll be together again in another time and space

[Verse repeats]

I’ll hold your hand forever

We promised in this life to walk together

In this life, we haven’t loved enough

After death, we’ll be buried on the same hill

Supporting you, who cares if heaven isn’t long and earth doesn’t last

Don’t cry, because I’m here to guard you

One day when we can’t walk anymore

We’ll be together again in another time and space

We’ll be together again in another time and space

---

Key phrases explained:

搀扶 chān fú = To support by the arm, help walk. Shows elderly couples caring for each other.

天不长地不久 = Even if heaven and earth don’t last forever. Means “even if time isn’t eternal.”

风雨同路 = Walk the same road through wind and rain. Means “through thick and thin.”

葬在一个山头 = Buried on the same hill. Ultimate vow — together even in death.

It’s basically the musical version of 神仙眷侶,琴瑟和鳴 we just talked about — lifelong love that goes beyond death.

20260318 Mui song#11 : Guard Your Heart ( Wars)

 19/3/26
Iran war entering day 19.
Was thinking about wars and rumors or war.
And whether Bibi was really dead or just a rumor?
Bombed here and here
Kill you here and there
An eye for an eye now…

Matt 24 Prov 4 & 2 Chron 16:9 keep circling in my little brain. Lyrics were mine but music was helped by the AI. 😂

Getting better at disciphering chords! Cos lately been learning the piano with this YouTuber called Melanie Pianist. She is good! Love her simple 15-16 min step by step piano stuff! So now getting better with piano fills. 😂

Well well. A new 11th song by Mui mui!

20260312 - A 61 Merdeka KLcelebration By E Train!

 15/3/26:-
On the E train now from KL to JB by 3 pm ish. This time on the standard seat at RM105:)

Some little reflections on this “Omakase “ KL 4D3N trip? Celebration of 61 is not the main reason actually.  It was more of a try out at their new Electric train and a visit to their latest second tallest building @ 118.  And of course to meet aunty & cousin and friends and John’s Canada uni mate.

Omakase indeed. Well it turned out pretty adventurous not knowing what to really expect.

1. Did the E train experience
2. Went up to the 98th of Merdeka 118 as the viewing gallery was yet to be opened.
3. Had the most expensive buffet at Park Hyatt on 98 spending $118! For the dinner buffet :( but omakase? Enjoyed the lights out at 9pm for the aerial night view from this 118. 😂 paid for the view!
4.First time walking at their Perdana Botanic gardens ( section 3 of their Warisan KL initiative). And just found out it was slightly bigger than our Botanic in 🔴! Have been to Manhattan Park in NY but thot ours was prettier than 🇺🇸. Well KL’s not bad too
5. KL MRT starting fare is RM1.20. Not LRT and what was good? They have a “ladies  carriage “ where NO Men can enter! Yah! Wo-men power!
6. Lesson learnt? Never take Grab during peak hours. When we arrived at 5pm - we took 40min from KL Sentral to our Four Points Sheraton @ Chinatown. Rm28! But this morning - it took us only RM6 in 8min!!!! Should have taken that MRT to Pasar Seni stop just few stations away! Well well…ha ha ha
7. Omakase city walk! Thanks to our Frankie Wendy friends. They too became tourists cos this new KL City Gallery was just opened last mth! They too wanted to have a peep! From Petaling street we headed to Central Market. ( was there 25 years ago…) Now so transformed. Great artisan and handicrafts stuff! From there we went to Mederka Square area where all the Colonial buildings were recently restored.  Part of their Warisan KL initiative. ( really like our Padang art gallery area). Impressive on the inside and outside. It is Ramadan. So less crowded. Choose the correct time to visit Malaysia! ramanda is their low season! Good for tourists!!! 😂
8. Omakase Sungai wang for the Miniature Malaysia! Really impressed ! GOod overview of Malaysia states and history in 3D miniatures!

We did not cover all the places in all the 3 sections. Think the night walks would be pretty to behold.

Wanted to go to the Luge which is 1.5 hours away from KL. No time. Perhaps next time?

This trip seemed a little different from previous trips. For those of us who came to KL for KP wedding? Think can come again after 2 years. This time? By E train for the experience. Pretty smooth and cool. No fear of lack of toilets and leg stretches!

VErdict : 4/5 stars or 5/5 also can ! ❤️
