Few days ago I recorded the song “Gently” from the C-Drama Small Hometown Remedy.
Managed to finish watching all the 29 episodes only to realise the beginning scene in the first was the ending scene in the last. Pretty creatively produced. It was a journey of change for this Dr Liu.
Think there were many lessons to take from this drama. Fears. Life and death. Relationships. Healing .Dark humor.
The OST lyrics had the winter and spring. People come and go. Awoken at 3:30am, while doing my “SOAP”, I couldn’t help but came up with the new AI song -lyrics which came from the Bible. Ps147 and Songs2 resonated so much resemblance of the OST first few verses.
And what was the main key lesson? FEARS.
Everyone has fears. Big and small. Some permanent and others temporal. Cause and effects of post traumas. Physical and mental illnesses.
Well Covid came in 2020. Lockdown was re opened in 2022. Yet this unseen virus still stayed on in many who have yet to step out of this fear. Such is life. Some are still stuck in fear.
But this drama depicts the challenge and confrontation of such fears. The Cure. The remedy. If one wants to change? Got to face it and be an over comer. If Dr Liu can do it, so can you.
Hope. After winter, spring will appear. That is how our Creator God’s bigger design of seasons of life. Life is never a bed of roses. When the downs of life may hit us, we remember the passing winter and the new spring flowers. Move On.
