1/7/2010: Munich Journey - Lost and found

Came back from Munich on 1/7/2010. The photo is taken from one of the mountains in Munich - the Bavarian Alps behind.

What did I learn from this trip? Well, the photo showed a winding road through the mountains.

Isaiah 2:2 In the last days the mountain of the LORD's temple will be established as chief among the mountains; it will be raised above the hills and all nations will stream to it. V3 Many people will come and say "Come and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD and to the house of the God of Jacob. He will teach us his ways so that we may walk in his paths" The law will go out from Zion, the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.

Before we left for Munich , Germany - many things happened. Health issues, car refused to start on the night of our travel, almost missed the flight due to the error in the timing shown on our travel ticket, being picked up by the airport buggy as we were the last 2 to board the plane...and most memorable of all....John's backpack with his PC, camera and passport were accidentally left on one of the benches inside the Munich airport upon arrival. Can you imagine travelling in the cab for 40km to the hotel and then realise the horror of a missing precious bagpack? Prayed and sent sms to some friends and loved ones to pray on our way back to the airport to look for it.

Well, the Lord showed Himself faithful and true and gracious and merciful...the little bagpack was left sitting at the bench for an hour without anyone stealing it! Ha Ha Ha! What a joy of having been found! Indescribable.

God is great all the time! He is omnipresent, omniscient and omnipotent. His angelic host guards His precious ones.
May we all indeed marvel at His Holy mountain and continue to walk in His ways...Our life journey is like this winding road in the mountains. For every twist and turns, He is always there for us!
