Nagano : Famous for their Buckwheat noodle (or the soba) and the paos and oyaki (kind of dumpling)...Nagano city - about one hour bus ride to the ski mountains (1998 Winter Olympics in Shiga Kogen 资贺高原。 From Nagano to Tokyo Haneda airport - about 4 hours by taxi/ coach. Shinkansen - slightly shorter....heavy snow fall this time.
