20201110- 99 Winding South Buona Vista Road and Tuas Mega Port Drive

 

Is this the most winding road in Red Dot?

Hmm...perhaps!

On 10/11/2020, our little walk at Sungei Buloh was cancelled due to the morning thundery showers!

So what did we do? When the rain stopped around 9:45, we decided to do this scenic drive to Red Dot's most winding road...and then to view our latest Tuas Mega port !

At the top of Kent Ridge Park!

From Kent Ridge to Tuas Mega Port - Just next to Jurong Island!

Bollywood Veggies was closed on Tuesday! So we went to this Kranji Farm resort instead! Near Kranji Marshes.

Oh what a long drive on this day!

People don't take trips, trips take people!

The South Buona Vista road was indeed on with many twists and turns, ups and downs.

A sobering reminder of the journey of life.

The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step.

The journey is never ending.

The journey is the one within.

Focus on the journey

Remember the destination.

Where am I going ?

Whom I am going with?

What am I doing on earth?

or what on earth am i doing!

So on this day, I tell myself, I am so blessed to take this car journey with loved ones.

Life is not measured by the breaths we take

but the moments that take our breath away.

The world is reeling with chaos of the USA presidential elections revealing a nation that is pretty much divided.  Covid little bug had created such a major change in the way we live.

The rainfall this morning changes our plan for the morning.

The walk became a car drive.

This morning rain was yet a reminder of Matt5:45 

"For He makes the sun to rise on those who are evil and on those who are good, and makes the rain fall on the righteous and the unrighteous."

So what if President B be elected and not A?

Afterall Prov21:1 says "The king's heart is a stream of water in the hand of the LORD; he turns it wherever he will"

So hey, take it easy ...try to slow it down...that's the way to go..oh oh!

Take a nice slow car journey...feel the wind...smell the flowers!

20201108- Chestnut? Dairy Farm? What a Cool Sunday Morning Walk!

 

What an unique flower captured at the Singapore Quarry!

We started at 7:30am... ended back at 9am...

So cool this day! No sunny sun!

As we walked past CHIJ- I saw all these figurines! What a capture too!

A great reminder of my Lord Jesus Christ - He was the Cross bearer for our sins so that we can obtain righteousness through Him and not by our own works.

Amen to His Grace! God's Richest At Christ's Expense! Costly one!

Reminded of Matt 9:12 " I will have MERCY, and not sacrifice; for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance"

Mercy indeed! God's not giving us what we deserve

when Grace is God's giving us what we do not deserve!

Are you a good person?

If you are not- thank God, you qualify to receive His grace and mercy!

Who needs a doctor? The healthy or the sick? Jesus asked in Matt 9:13

20201107- A Don Moen Zoom Time! Music is not Worship and Worship is not Music!

 

7/11/2020 : Sat Morning! Live with Don Moen 

Started to doodle as I began listening to Don's Worship and teaching session over ZOOM.

Before I logged into the ZOOM room, I had prepared my cup of Kopi for my morning cuppa!

So it was so great to hear Don's affirmation that one thing good about this Covid for worship was that we could have our little coffee as we worship in our own little spaces! Awesome!

Summary of the Webinar Worship:- (John 4:23 , John14:26)

1. Music is not Worship and Worship is not Music!
2. Worship is not based on musical style!
3. So what is WORSHIP? It is sincere, heartfelt, motivated by gratitude *SPIRIT* - rooted in the unchanging timeless WORD of God *TRUTH*

Do you wish to go back to "Normal"?

This COVID change has forced us to rethink about what is norm. 

Not nec bad as we remember Rom8:28.

We embrace technology. The virtual screens and walls that connect even more people that we can ever imagine!

What does Rev 1:7 really mean "Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him..." or Luke 21:27 " And you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of power and coming with the clouds of heaven"

Cloud Computing.  Cloud Storage. Real Time! Internet of Things! 5G!

FinTech! Blockchain!
