20100722 :My Interesting Bread experiment & Power of Speech - visible and invisible!

24th July 2010
How true this is! The choice is ours to make. James 3:10 says Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be.
Romans 1:20
20For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
Colossians 1:16
16For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:
My bread experience showed that indeed the invisible part of speech can be translation to manifest visibly itself unto the physical bread. Very clearly seen. Can we seen God? Can we see the electricity? Can we see wind? Obviously not. But by virtue we see the beautiful nature created world, by virtue of seeing our ceiling light and the swaying of the rustling leaves of the trees, or feeling the electrical shock or the wind, we know their existence!
MM Lee of Singapore in today's papers acknowledged that the recent floodings were an act of God that man cannot prevent. So there is a God. Otherwise, insurance companies would not have exclusion clauses to incorporate non payouts that were due to acts of God, wouldn't they?
God is in CONTROL, not man. He is the Creator God eternal.
Reflections
This bread experience is indeed an eye opener for me to the world of the invisible. Col 1:17And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. The spiritual world to many is the unseen world, mystical to some, mystery to others.
Is there really a God out there? When we pray - do we understand what we are doing? Buddhist prays, Muslims prays. Hindus prays. So do we. But Jesus, the Son of the living God who came to this world about 2000 years ago, is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature. He has delivered us from the power of darkness and translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son, in whom we have redemption through his blood and even the forgiveness of sins.
Jesus, He died for me and you. We are redeemed. Nothing is free .It cost him His life. But yet He rose again against all odds as a living proof of eternity, conquering death. My breath is held by Him. My heart beats because He gave me that every beat of my heart. This world is not mine. I am merely a pilgrim on this journey of life. Faith and hope and love. The greatest of these 3? Love. God is love. Love cannot be seen. But it can be felt as visible expression. That first piece of bread had my love but not the cursed rejected one. Simple rule - LOVE. The world needs it badly. Give your loved ones your bread of love today! Yeah Yeah!

8/7/2010:Quantum leap and Rainbow

1/7/2010: Munich Journey - Lost and found
What did I learn from this trip? Well, the photo showed a winding road through the mountains.
Isaiah 2:2 In the last days the mountain of the LORD's temple will be established as chief among the mountains; it will be raised above the hills and all nations will stream to it. V3 Many people will come and say "Come and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD and to the house of the God of Jacob. He will teach us his ways so that we may walk in his paths" The law will go out from Zion, the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.
Before we left for Munich , Germany - many things happened. Health issues, car refused to start on the night of our travel, almost missed the flight due to the error in the timing shown on our travel ticket, being picked up by the airport buggy as we were the last 2 to board the plane...and most memorable of all....John's backpack with his PC, camera and passport were accidentally left on one of the benches inside the Munich airport upon arrival. Can you imagine travelling in the cab for 40km to the hotel and then realise the horror of a missing precious bagpack? Prayed and sent sms to some friends and loved ones to pray on our way back to the airport to look for it.
Well, the Lord showed Himself faithful and true and gracious and merciful...the little bagpack was left sitting at the bench for an hour without anyone stealing it! Ha Ha Ha! What a joy of having been found! Indescribable.
God is great all the time! He is omnipresent, omniscient and omnipotent. His angelic host guards His precious ones.
May we all indeed marvel at His Holy mountain and continue to walk in His ways...Our life journey is like this winding road in the mountains. For every twist and turns, He is always there for us!

1Kings 17:14: Jug Oil vs Gulf Oil

On 20/4/2010, the Horizon Deepwater oil rig exploded in the Gulf of Mexico.
Today, 7/6/2010, as I am still writing, the cap on the blown-out well in the Gulf is capturing a half-million gallons a day, or anywhere from one-third to three-quarters of the oil spewing from the bottom of the sea. Do you know 1 gallon is 4.5 litres?? Our car uses up about 1 litre for every 10km and right now it cost about S$2/ per litre Here in S'pore?
I used to scuba dive. I cannot fathom undertaking repair jobs under the sea. Those who dive would know what I mean. How does one stop the unending leak from the seabed? Real problem. Both ways man had it! Toxic oil flowing from under the sea and the counteractive chemicals poured in to the sea to try to stop the oil from spreading.
Immeasureable repercussions we see in months down the lane!
I felt lousy over the weekend.
1 Kings 17:14 LORD, the God of Irsael says ..." and the jug of oil will not run dry until the day the LORD gives rain on the land"
